Okay so I think everyone on EGL already knows of the Bodyline replica's of AP and IW etc etc...  I myself did purchase a Fruits Parlour replica in redXpink (I shall indeed make a piccy post later about the purchases - arrived yesterday)... Now the true question now is - should I get more - since it's already too late since I have "sinned" against true Loli-hood *(?!!?).  Or should I just stop while I'm ahead and only make my own dresses or buy "true brand"/non-replica...? Hmm tough... Morals against likes + budget restrictions of a 18 year old. *sigh*

Haha, well that - and I've always always loved dolls.  But sadly I haven't gotten another doll since Sarang [And I got her back when I was 15-16!!!].  So I think it's high time I get a few new dolls as a treat to myself.  As I've already gotten a dSLR which was on the top of my "to-get list" a while back~  Therefore, once I successfully convince my mother to help pay for part of my MACbook - I shall get a new doll~~~  Yippee!  I'm debating over a few at the moment.  I shall post the rest later, but the one above is a Doll&Doll Rona.  Others I am considering are from Luts  (I just love luts), and range from Tiny/Yo-SD size, to SD or bigger.  Wish me luck in saving for them! :O

Bored... So bored...

Ah so I've been absolutely IN LOVE with this falls trends.  I must say I adore plaid and skirts with overall-straps!!!  The only problem is... I'm broke.  Typical - I see things I like left and right now - YES even thigh and over-knee socks that took me ages to find a few years ago are now readily available EVERYWHERE. Life is cruel.  I've always known that.  My friends got me some nice b-day gifts - I'm EIGHTEEN now!!!  Yes - old and almost dead.  Haha, I kid~  But I am 18 - I can... VOTE!!!  And buy lottery tickets - can't forget the lottery tickets...!

Anyway, I did buy a cool shirt from F21 yesterday, as well as a small cross/shoulder clam-shell bag from H&M.  But what I really want (and STILL cannot afford), is some House of Holland Tees and Vivienne Westwood Accessories - specifically her Bas Relief 3-row pearl choker, Small orb Necklace, Bas relief earrings, Orb earrings, etc.  I've always wanted these - as I've lamented mentioned several times in the past...  But it just hit me now (call me an idiot whatever) that I could ORDER them.  I'd MUCH prefer to buy it in person though... I've looked around some places in Toronto but no luck.  So does ANYONE know where I can get some authentic Vivienne Westwood Jewelry in TORONTO?!!?

Haven't written in ages - ah well, I enjoy stalking LJ anyway.... >.>;;  Well recently while posting on my usual forum (soompi), I noticed that an awful lot of people in the "Health and Fitness" section are turning to some Japanese/Chinese (can't remember) weight loss pill called the "2-day Diet"...  It apparently contains "lingzhi" which is a costly Chinese herb - and this diet pill supposedly works...!  Now what are the downsides?  Theres always downsides aren't there? ...Well apparently there are barely any!  Just - oh lets see...  Mmm, extreme loss in appetite, some shakiness (warning sign much?), increased heart rate (uh oh...), fatigue, etc.  Basically the same negative things most other dieting pills cause...

 BUT!  In this case it's all "worth" it because it actually works!  People are losing around 5-15 pounds per month on this stuff!  At what price I don't know - I can't judge whether this is a healthy or smart choice, but yeah...  Just what I noticed - people ARE willing to overlook health risks for the sack of vanity.  I can't say I'm above that - but I'm also pretty sure I'd pick health > the last 5 pounds.  Even if yes, it kills me inside that I could've just spent $30-$60 and *poof* my ideal weight! -_-;;;  Boy...  I don't even know what I'm complaining about...

Anyway - I have more stuff to say but I'll put it in a separate entry...!

Well I've just commissioned my 6th Aunt's Boyfriend's Mom to sew a dress for me...  <- That sounded confusing... >.>;;;  It's a lolita dress I designed, and I'll have to buy the fabric either today or tomorrow, depending on how things go, well anyway, I'm sooooo excited~~~!  ^o^ Though I know I could've sewn it myself and saved the $150 commision price (discounted by a lot...), I don't really feel like committing myself that much right now. Meh.  It probably wouldv'e taken me at least 3 weeks if I worked on it daily, but I know I wouldn't.  My excuse of the season is I've been so tired, mostly because of work, and I already quit my job at paramount, so I only work at Wen Long Tea, yay?

Only thing I'll be making for the outfit is probably the headdress and...  I dunno whatever else I can make with the scraps if any.  ^.^;

OMG!  I feel like giving up and doing Miwako's cosplay for AN 2008 or CNAnime or sth, because I don't want to rush/half-ass it.  That and I'm seriously low on funds...  Damn you shiney tempting gashapons + MAC + Anne Sui + clothes + shoes + manga + anything gothic lolita, Vivienne Westwood or bjd....   <- Thats A LOT of stuff....  All their fault I say bleh~.  That and I can't seem to find a good pink wig that suits me, crappy excuse I know, but I'm VERY particular about wigs.

Anywho~  If I DO end up not doing Miwako, I'll probably go to AN 2007 as... Me... >.>;;;  In lolita gear hopefully.  Ah, I've gone to it in that for the past 2 years, and it seems perfectly traditional to me... -_-;;;  *cough* boring *cough*

I need to get shoes... Lolita shoes...  Maybe I'll order the 2 pairs of rocking horse shoes (Unless someone wants to order with me to split the shipping etc~  *attempts puppy eyes*  *fails horrendously* ) and buy another one at that cosplay store in P-mall (overpriced!!!  maybe I'll get some Ling Lam's...).  That'll cost me a fortune.  And then I'll STILL need to make and/or buy a few dresses.  This is all too frustrating, I think I'll go rest... >.<;;

Anyway, I plan to do a Miwako cosplay for Anime North 2007 (soooo sooon!!!~!), though my friends want to do a Bleach group thingy, blah, I tried to teach them how to make the hakama and all, but they seem to expect me to do ALL the work for them... So no, theres no way I'm going to do all their outfits.  Pointers sure, a lil' help maybe, but expect me to pay for all the materials, make the outfits THEN ask them to pay me back for the materials after? And still only have a 50/50 chance of getting my $$$ back?!?!?!  NO.

(Okay so I doubt they'd do that, but by their attitude... *shrug* Oh well...)

Anyway, I desperately need to buy a wig, a pretty bubble-gum pastel-y pink wig.  With nice curls (not waves, I NEED curls~!!!), I may end up having to settle for a nice pink wig w/o curls (if I can even find that...), and buying a steamer and those round curling rollers, as well as a ton of hairspray...  >.<lll  Anyone know where I can get a good quality PINK wig for $70 or under (preferably the later)?!?!?!  Hey I just noticed but this -> PINK  is the type I want for my wig.... 0.0;;;

I need to go to Fabricland + Queen Street, geez it's as if I live there, I've spent sooooo much money on just thread...  But I must get fabric for the outfit!!! *rawr*~!!!  Oh and i'll also need a petticoat, but I'm still indecisive about whether I should buy one or make one... Hmmm...  I need to find a tutorial if I plan to make it... -.-;;  I'll also need pink shoes, EGL style *drools*~.   Sooo many things so lil' money...

OMG, I haven't been here for so long, partly because I've been busy but mostly because my computer got a virus (actually it's still a bit crippled, but she's a trooper...!!!~), and I had to be busy making stuff for Christmas for family and friends.  I am now dirt poor after spending the remainder of my money on a New Years Eve/New Years get-together thingy with my friends... >.<;;;

BUT, I will most definately start saving as of now...!!!~  Go $20 a week...!!!~  *fizzles down*...  That doesn't sound like much does it? But aww...  I really realllllllly can't seem to get a part-time job...  So I guess if I want a new Gothic Lolita dress, I got to wait, cuz I can't even afford fabric atm...  -.-;;

*sigh*  I really wanna go to a Harajukuesque meet up, but, I'm broke!!! WHY?!?! I haven't had money for ages... I feel like sulking in a corner, but I think I'll pass, maybe i'll settle for going to visit my grandma and aunts and leeching off them (pocky!!!~) whilst watching TV...!!!~  >=3 Great idea!!!~

So after CO-OP yesterday I found the delivery slip on my door, so once I got in I was soooo happy I started to scream. NOT JOKING.

Okay so today well since its 1:30 am, yesterday, it was the SM Auditions in Toronto!!! AHHHHH!!! I woke up late for Saturday school, and after that I went to Grans to eat b4 I met up with Angel at Dragon City. After that we bused to Yorkdale, and we looked around the mall for a bit before deciding to go to Korea Times where the Auditions were held. We asked around for awhile for directions but we finally made it there, and yep.

We met two girls there Joanne and Amy, and we 4 basically stuck together the whole time. We waited in line and got our numbers after filling the application. I was #239...!!! Then after a while of practicing outside we went inside to wait, and Angel pointed out to me that Jay was there with Andrew and Stina, so we said hi, blah blah blah.

Throughout this whole thing, a lot of people asked us if we were korean, appearently us 4 looked korean. And some guy, Jack I think, asked me that as well, it scared me. I saw the vocalist of Lamia, and Henry this violin-dancer guy from the Chinese night festival as well. Its a small world.

When it was our turn (we went in in groups of 10), we were told to step up to the line in order of our number, then state your name and age, then sing. I was the second last to go, and I swear i messed up the beginning and end. But oh well... Anywayz, then they played 15 seconds of music (it was R&B-ish) and we were to dance to it. I had fun, and Joanne and Angel said that I was really good at it, and that the judges were watching me. BUT, I digress, it was probably cuz I was the only one doing a lot of stuff (I get into the music, AND I danced once for the school Talent show like in gr 8, AGES ago...). SO oh well, all this whilst they recorded you mind you.

So even though I know I wont get chosen, it was fun. And I'd do it again if I had the chance.

Ah I havent written an entry in a while... Hmm...  BUT I have great news!!!  Luts sent me an e-mail yesterday, and appearantly my girl is on her way home!!!  They shipped her yesterday *woot*!!!~ 

Lalala, now that I've borrowed the digi-cam, I took some more photo's of me, in case I enter some random contest (again...)!!!~  And cuz I'm a camera-hog when I feel like it, being deprived of technology is my excuse!!!  Now again, you are warned, please don't make mean comments (well fine, if it's the truth I guess it can't be THAT bad... I hope, my self-esteem is reasonabley average.... As of now that is.)

I'm gonna try for the SMtown auditions!!! haha, it always was a big dream of mine to be a singer, but I'll lower my hopes, in case....  Now all I need is to get my photo's done, and apply, than yep, pick a song, and and...  Ah I'm so nervous!!! I'm just glad I'm EAST Asian, because you have to be Chinese, Korean or Japanese in order to apply! 0_0;;; 

Wish me luck ne?  I can't wait!!!  I'll need to really practice, even though I sing to songs every day...  My mum says I have to lose 5 pounds, and suddenly be prettier (err, how do i do THAT? Makeup? -_-;;;) ...  It sounds better to be 103 pounds at 5'4" than 108 pounds appearantly, but hey, I'm not about to starve myself!!! (I <3 food)~
